One of the all-time favorite bands of people young
and old is Metallica. The band started in 1981 when James Hetfield and Lars
Ulrich (two of the current band members) began talking and started a band.
From then it skyrocketed. After a time of finding new band members and getting
rid of some of the old ones, Kirk Hammet and Robert Trujillo joined to complete
the band as it is today. Metallica has come out with more than 10 albums,
which is up there with the most ever produced by a single band. The "Black
Album" which was nicknamed by the fans after originally being labeled "Metallica",
is one of their best and most well known albums. It has many people's all
time favorite songs including, "The Unforgiven", "Enter Sandman", and "Wherever
I May Roam". The latter has one a really awesome entrance. It starts off
slow and interesting in a form that not many other songs have used, then
the drummer starts playing really fast and then everyone else in the band
goes in hard. Metallica is a great band for most anyone who loves rock.
They are fun to listen to every time. |
